Krzysztof Pyszny – manages our projects. In 2016 he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Spatial Information Systems in strategic environmental impact assessments in the spatial planning of the Wielkopolskie Region” and he was awarded a doctoral degree in the field of environmental protection and management, specializing in geographic information systems in spatial planning. He is a graduate of postgraduate studies in “Hydrology and hydraulics used in engineering and water management”, which he completed in 2013 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Cracow. In 2006 he completed a postgraduate course of studies in “Environmental Management” at the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences of Adam Mickiewicz University. He is a graduate of Master Studies in the field of Environmental Protection at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Silesia in Katowice, which he completed in 2006.
He has over 10 years’ experience in consulting, working on scientific research projects and developing studies in a range of areas: environmental protection, spatial planning and water management. He is the author and co-author of over 200 studies resulting from environmental protection regulations (including environmental impact prognoses, information posters, environmental impact reports, preservation plans). He is the author and co-author of many expert surveys and scientific papers.
In 2014 he received a grant for doctoral students in the fields of studies approved as strategic for the development of the Wielkopolska Region. In 2017, as a member of the Metropolitan Research Centre at AMU in Poznań and co-author of Directions in the Spatial Development of Poznań Metropolis he was laureate of the 3rd Award of the Prime Minister of Poland.
He is a member of: Polish City Planners Association, Metropolitan Planning Committee of Poznań Metropolis, Association of Western Regional Chamber of City Planners in Wrocław.
